Terms & Conditions
When hiring any Tipi Joy’s goods, products and other services, you, the hirer, will be responsible whilst hiring this equipment, and ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to it. The hirer must be aged 18 or over.
Please ensure all safety instructions and guides are followed.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to take the duty of care and supervise children when hiring equipment.
- It is the hirer’s responsibility to check there is enough room for the number of tipi’s hired (please see our FAQs for measurements)
- Any items that might tear or scag the equipment must be removed and any makeup or face paint removed before entering the tipi.
- Shoes must not be worn inside the tipis.
- No smoking or pets to be near the equipment.
- Keep all naked flames away from the equipment.
- No food, drinks, sweets or chewing gum are allowed in the tipis. Trays are provided to encourage eating and drinking outside of the tipis.
- No sharp instruments are allowed in or around the equipment.
- The tipis and equipment are for indoor use only.
- All equipment/products are not suitable for children under 5 years old unless you have had permission from Tipi Joy.
- All prices are subject to change, however, prices quoted at the time of booking will always be honoured.
- Equipment seen in photography may be subject to change but will always be swapped for the equivalent.
- All booking require a 20% deposit to secure the date. If an enquiry is made for the same date, the date will go to whichever party has paid the deposit first.
- All bookings require a security deposit. Any damages or stains to the equipment will result in your security deposit being nonrefundable and an invoice sent for any extra costs. The security deposit will be returned in full within 48hrs of collection and all goods checked.
- If your event is cancelled, we will offer an alternative date, if this is unsuitable we regret that the deposit is non-refundable. Please note cancellation 7 days or less before the booked date will result in 50% of the whole package is non-refundable. If a further date is required the remaining 50% will go towards the payment for the new date.
- Tipi Joy is not held responsible for any 3rd party costs or losses due to the cancellation of a party.
- Payment of the full package is due 7 days prior to your event date. If this is not received the date is no longer held.
- Force Majeure – The Company will not be liable for any: Act of God including but not limited to a violent wind storm, fire, flood, rainstorm or natural disaster; War, civil war, sabotage or act of terrorism; government sanction, global pandemic.

Tipi Joy cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from allergies. Although we endeavour to use anti-allergy bedding it is the party hirers responsibility to ensure any allergies are checked with us before hiring.
